Arsenal have reportedly made a decision to loan out Mesut Ozil in the January transfer window.
The Mirror claims that the Gunners will even pay a chunk of his wages to ensure that a deal is done.
It was claimed last week that the player had been made available for transfer, only for him to then be named among Emery’s five captains.

His huge wages of £350,000 a week mean the Gunners will certainly struggle to offload him permanently, so where do Arsenal go from here?

A loan deal for Mesut Ozil seems to be the only option that Arsenal have at this stage.
The club will seriously struggle to find anybody that would willingly match his wage demands, so they’ll be forced to continue paying for him if they want him out of the first-team picture any time soon.
If a player of his quality is available on loan at a fraction of the cost, there will no doubt be interest in the German when the January window rolls around.
It makes for a sorry state of affairs for the club that they may have to loan out a player of Ozil’s stature, but if they don’t, they risk seeing him watch on from the sidelines under Emery going forward.
