AC Milan’s Krzysztof Piatek has developed into one of the finest strikers in Europe in recent years and he has now revealed that he was a boyhood Arsenal fan.
Speaking to Tuttosport, as cited on Sport Witness, Piatek reflected on his childhood memories, hailing some Arsenal greats of yesteryear.
As a child I was an Arsenal fan – I really liked the style of play of Wenger’s team and I admired great players like Bergkamp and Henry.
These Arsenal fans have been quick to respond to the striker on social media, with some hoping he one day gets to wear the Gunners shirt himself.

Piatek is certainly a name that Arsenal fans should keep a close eye on in the years to come.
He may not be a striker that is in a position to realistically join the club right now, but in the long run he could potentially be a great option for the Gunners.
He’s enjoying a rapid rise to fame in Italy and his impressive goalscoring record speaks for itself.
At Genoa last season, he scored 13 times in 19 league games before going on to join Milan, where he scored another nine. He already has two league goals to his name this season.
