Marcus Rashford will be absent from the Manchester United squad for Monday’s meeting with Arsenal.
The striker has been struggling with a groin problem and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed that the forward will be forced to sit it out against the Gunners.

Rashford’s absence could leave United without a recognised senior striker, however, these fans on social media have urged Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to start promising youngster Mason Greenwood.

It’s never nice to celebrate an opposing player’s injury, but Rashford’s absence will definitely be welcomed by Unai Emery.
Even though he has struggled for form in recent weeks, he has a proven record against the Gunners and always seems to bring his best when Arsenal are the visitors.

It remains to be seen as to whether or not fellow forward Anthony Martial will return on Monday, but if he isn’t, Solskjaer may have to place his trust in Greenwood.
The teenager has been a shining light in a dismal few weeks for the Red Devils, so the Norwegian may not be afraid of throwing the young striker in.
These United fans are clearly confident in their young star, but now it’s down to Solskjaer to make the call.
