# Arsenal fans can’t get their heads around Emery’s latest decision

Unai Emery has held a vote within his Arsenal squad to identify the members of his leadership group, [football.london](https://www.football.london/arsenal-fc/players/how-arsenal-stars-selecting-new-16983536) report.

The Spaniard has delayed the chance to name his group of captains on several occasions, however, he is now expected to finally reveal them before the trip to Old Trafford on Monday.

The news was shared by football.london reporter [James Benge](https://twitter.com/jamesbenge/status/1177175984979828736) on social media, and it didn’t go down well with these Arsenal fans.

### Read Arsenal verdict

Granit Xhaka and Mesut Ozil have both captained the Gunners this season, and we wouldn’t be surprised to see the pair amongst the new leadership group.

Multiple Arsenal fans have also called for strike duo Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to be amongst the leaders in recent weeks, and after their brilliant start to the season, they could also be included.

We still don’t know how this will all work in truth. Will Emery rotate the armband each week?

What we do know is that these Gunners supporters think the boss could be making a serious mistake.
