Arsenal fans have yet again hailed Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang after youngster Gabriel Martinelli revealed how the 30-year-old helped him during the early weeks of his Gunners career.
Martinelli was handed his first competitive appearance by Unai Emery against Nottingham Forest on Tuesday and netted twice in the 5-0 win.
The 18-year-old’s impressive display caught the eye at the Emirates, which led to plenty of media interest in the Brazilian.
Following the game, cited by fan @PatrickTimmons1, the teenager revealed that it was Aubameyang who helped him settle in North London.

And these Gunners supporters were quick to praise their star striker, with many again calling for him to recieve the armband from Emery.

The calls from Arsenal fans urging Emery to make Aubameyang the Gunners skipper are becoming a regular occurrence.
He’s shown that he is a natural leader on the pitch over the past 12 months, so this latest off-field revelation regarding Martinelli will only further his case to lead the side.
Emery was planning on naming his ‘five captains’ soon, however, if Arsenal fans had their way, they’d have already named the striker as skipper.
