It’s fair to say that Arsenal fans liked what they saw from Kieran Tierney after he made his full debut against Nottingham Forest on Tuesday.
The 22-year-old, who had been out with a groin problem, played 77 minutes for the Gunners before being replaced by another returning full-back, Hector Bellerin.

Two goals from Gabriel Martinelli along with strikes from Rob Holding, Joe Willock and Reiss Nelson allowed Arsenal to ease. past the Championship side on a productive evening for the Gunners.
Following the win, Tierney posted a message of thanks on Twitter, and these Arsenal fans were quick to show their love for the left-back.

Tierney’s first appearance in an Arsenal shirt was impressive. It was the left-back’s first competitive game for five months, however, you wouldn’t have known.
He completed two key passes, attempted eight crosses and made two successful tackles (Whoscored), setting a solid benchmark to build on over the coming months.
He may not be risked against Manchester United on Monday, however, with the Gunners having three games in seven days before the next international break, Tierney will more than likely feature in the games against Standard Liege and Bournemouth.
