Arsenal host Nottingham Forest on Tuesday evening in the Carabao Cup, 48 hours on from their dramatic 3-2 win over Aston Villa in the Premier League.
The Gunners are the only side with the quick turnaround, with the six other Premier League sides who played on Sunday set to play their ties on Wednesday.

And according to Daily Mail reporter Sami Mokbel, Arsenal agreed to host Forest just two days on from their Premier League fixture to help the Championship side prepare for their Friday night trip to Stoke City.
These Arsenal supporters were quick to reply to the news on social media, with plenty of fans heaping praise on the club’s decision.

Read Arsenal verdict
The Gunners and the Potters struck up a rivalry after Aaron Ramsey’s horrific leg break back in 2010, and it looks as if they are now willing to jump at every opportunity to make sure they don’t return to the Premier League anytime soon.
Stoke are struggling in the second tier and have just two points from their opening eight games.
They are also in Carabao Cup action on Tuesday against Crawley, so allowing Sabri Lamouchi’s Forest side two full days to prepare for the game on Friday is a generous decision by the Gunners.
In all honesty, the quick turn around shouldn’t affect Arsenal too much. Unai Emery is expected to make wholesale changes, with plenty of youngsters and returning stars expected to feature.
