Matteo Guendouzi has earned himself plenty of plaudits after his performance against Aston Villa on Sunday.
The Frenchman impressed as the Gunners came from behind to seal a 3-2 victory against Dean Smith’s men.
It was by no means an easy match for the Gunners and it was Guendouzi’s performance in the heart of the midfield that had these Arsenal fans on social media hailing his attitude.

Read Arsenal verdict
Guendouzi really appears to be coming into his own this season. While he did well during the previous campaign, the consistency was not always there in his game.
When look back at his performance, only Nicolas Pepe was given a higher rating (7.9) than him (7.3) in the Arsenal side by WhoScored.
It now looks like he has a clear and regular place in this Arsenal side. It would be easy to say that this is becoming something of a breakthrough season for the Frenchman but his performance against Villa justifies his growing importance to the team.
