Arsenal showing interest in Malen – do they need him?
Arsenal are one of a number of clubs that have enquired about a potential deal for PSV forward Donyell Malen.
According to The Mirror, Arsenal and 44 other clubs have spoken to PSV to see what their plans for Malen are in the coming transfer windows.
The report claims that PSV value him at £50m, two years after he joined the club from Arsenal for £500k.

Do Arsenal need to splash £50m on bringing Malen back to the club?
No chance. Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang have been sensational upfront for the club under Unai Emery, meaning that there is no urgent need for a striker at The Emirates.
But what about the future? Well, Eddie Nketiah has scored four goals from just two starts for Leeds United on loan this season and is showing that he has the promise to potentially be a future first-team player at Arsenal. This means that Arsenal are well stocked for the present and the future in Malen’s position, leaving no need for him.
This is not a knock on Malen, though, who has scored six goals in five league games for PSV this season and three in the Europa League. The 20-year-old certainly has talent, but not enough to oust Aubameyang or Lacazette from the side.
