Aston Villa travel to the Emirates to face Arsenal this Sunday.
The last time these two teams met was in 2016 when Arsenal thumped them 4-0 and Oliver Giroud bagged himself a hat-trick.
However, this is a completely revamped Aston Villa side following their relegation in 2016 and they have been given a new lease of life under Dean Smith.
A mixture of experience and youth in Villa’s ranks have made them a resurging force and this fixture will by no means be a walkover for Arsenal.
Unai Emery will no doubt want to stamp his authority on this game and will be demanding a much more assertive performance as Arsenal threw away a 2-0 lead to Watford in their last Premier League outing.
They have a little momentum coming into this game, after an impressive 3-0 victory in Germany against Eintracht Frankfurt on Thursday.
Ahead of the game, we’ve taken a look at the key battles that could determine Sunday’s game.
