“Music to my ears” – fans are loving Arsenal’s plans for Eddie Nketiah
Leeds United fans have fallen in love with Eddie Nketiah over the last six weeks after the striker decided to make the move to Elland Road on deadline day.
Nketiah has already scored four times in six appearances under Marcelo Bielsa, averaging a goal every 62 minutes due to only making two starts.
Over 20 clubs were in for the 20-year-old over the summer, with the player himself choosing the Whites over the likes of Bristol City and Bundesliga side Fortuna Dusseldorf.
Leeds CEO Angus Kinnear has now spoken out on the forward, revealing Arsenal’s exciting plans for the striker.
Talking to the media, cited by AFTV Media, Kinnear said:
When we spoke to Arsenal about him, we asked them, ‘is this a player you want us to develop so you can sell him?’ They said, ‘no, this is a player we want you to develop so he can come back and play first-team football for Arsenal.’
And these Gunners fans were quick to respond to the comments on social media, with many sharing their excitement.

Nketiah’s excellent start to life with Leeds won’t come as a surprise to anyone associated with Arsenal.
The striker is regarded as a future star and Unai Emery actually didn’t want the youngster to leave on loan over the summer.
However, a season in the second tier will only develop Nketiah’s game even further, adding a physical edge to his raw talent, which could ultimately be the difference in his attempts to break into Emry’s side next season.
