The result against Watford was hardly inspiring, but seeing their closest rivals do exactly the same thing in arguably a more important match will certainly lift the spirits among supporters.
Now Arsenal need to pick themselves up and get a positive result in the Europa League agianst Frankfurt on Thursday night.
The Bundesliga side will be no pushovers, so if the Gunners can come away with all three points from this game, it will be a timely boost amid all the uncertainty at the club.
