Arsenal fans have reacted to former striker Donyell Malen firing five past Vitesse in PSV 5-0 battering.
Malen scored all five goals and thoroughly impressed for PSV. Malen had his hat-trick just after half time, before two penalty conversions added to his spectacular tally.
Malen was a youth player at Arsenal from 2015 to 2017, but never really got near the first team for the Gunners. Malen left Arsenal for Jong PSV (PSV’s reserve team), before he was promoted to the Eredivisie sides first team, where he has impressed so far this season.

These Arsenal fans reacted on Twitter bitterly, and called for Emery to resign the former academy player. However, the Gunners fans didn’t hesitate in congratulating Malen on his achievement.

READ ARSENAL VERDICT
Arsenal have rued letting youth players leave in recent years and this proves to be another player added to that list.
However, you can’t judge a player on one great game, and time will only tell if Arsenal have missed out on Malen’s scoring ability. Early signs are suggesting that they have missed out on a great striker and goalscorer, though.
