Arsenal fans have hit back at Ainsley Maitland-Niles after the youngster was pictured apologising to the travelling support on Sunday.
As the Gunners left the pitch following their 2-2 draw, Maitland-Niles held his hands up in acceptance to the away fans, but it’s a picture that hasn’t gone down well.
These fans have vented their frustration towards the player after another poor performance.

Many fans were quick to point out that Maitland-Niles is currently playing out of position until Hector Bellerin is back fully fit and while that is true, it’s the same old simple mistakes that are costing the Gunners.
Maitland-Niles did brilliantly to set up Aubameyang for Arsenal’s second of the game, but his defending in the latter stages of the match was more than a little suspect.
With Bellerin now back in full training, his return to the side will be a major boost as Unai Emery has been forced to play the wideman out of position.
If nothing else, it was a token of gratitude from the youngster which is good to see, but the reactions have compounded what was a miserable result for the Gunners.
