# These Arsenal fans wouldn’t want the club to sign Dembele

Unai Emery has been forced to use Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang out wide this season and that has not always gone down well with supporters.

It has even been [suggested](https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/1173091/Pierre-Emerick-Aubameyang-Arsenal-Liverpool-Jamie-Redknapp-Premier-League) that Aubameyang himself would like to be given a run in the side as a central striker, while many feel that the squad could benefit from more natural width on the left, as the Gabon forward often sits slightly narrower in an inside forward role.

This has resulted in an interesting debate among these supporters on social media, about whether or not the club need to invest in a left-sided winger, with one fan suggesting Barcelona’s Ousmane Dembele as a potential option to consider.

Given that Dembele is a bright young player with a lot of ability, the tone of the responses from these Arsenal supporters was interesting, to say the least.

It says a lot about the confidence that these Arsenal fans have in the direction the club are heading that they would be willing to turn down a player like Dembele.

This doesn’t have to stop with Dembele either, clearly, these fans believe that the club are onto something with the current crop of youngsters that they have coming through the ranks.

Reiss Nelson and Gabriel Martinelli are two players who have fans excited about the future at the Emirates. If either of the pair can develop into the players the club expects them to become, they could save the Gunners a lot of money going forward.
