# Arsenal fans want to see Nelson promoted after Lacazette blow

Arsenal have confirmed that Alexandre Lacazette will be ruled out until October as a result of an ankle injury.

The club [released a fresh injury update](https://twitter.com/Arsenal/status/1172515099854200832?s=20) on social media, confirming that the striker has been playing through the pain recently.

It comes as a huge blow to the Gunners as they prepare to travel to Watford this weekend. However, these fans have tried to see the positives in the news and want to see Reiss Nelson given a chance to shine.

### Read Arsenal verdict

Losing a player of Lacazette’s quality will be a huge blow for the Gunners, but it’s good to see so many supporters trying to take the positives from the situation.

With Lacazette out of action, Aubameyang should be given a good run in the side as the main man through the middle. He has been forced out wide but will now get his opportunity to impress through the middle.

Not only that, but somebody will have the chance to come into the side on the left of the front three.

While many are suggesting that somebody could in fact be Nelson, it remains to be seen how Emery will manage the situation.
