Arsenal fans surprised by Luiz and Saka’s friendship

After joining from Chelsea over the summer, many tipped David Luiz to take on some form of leadership role within the Arsenal dressing room.

Despite his antics on the pitch, Luiz is known to be a great leader and character to have in the squad.

However, these Arsenal fans have been left surprised on social media after seeing the friendship that one of the club’s more senior players appears to have developed with Bukayo Saka, as pointed out by @afcDW on Twitter.

Being a former Chelsea player, it would have been easy for supporters to become a little disengaged with Luiz and his arrival at the club.

However, he has made himself a firm favourite already as it becomes clear to see the role he is playing off the pitch.

The Brazilian has been pictured alongside and speaking to several young players around the club and if he can pass on his experience to them, then Arsenal will find themselves in a good spot.

His knowledge and experience would have no doubt played a key role in Unai Emery’s decision to sign the player over the summer.

He has worked with him before at Paris Saint-Germain, so it’s no surprise to see the Brazilian playing such a key role this season.
