Mesut Ozil is yet to feature for the Gunners this season, which has been a hot topic amongst many Arsenal supporters.
The German playmaker, who starred for the club during his first few years at the Emirates, has struggled since Unai Emery replaced Arsene Wenger in North London and was tipped to leave over the summer.

And now, former England international Glen Johnson has taken aim at Emery during an interview with talkSPORT host Jim White, cited by @LTArsenal, insisting he must fit Ozil into his team one way or another.
He’s one of the best players in the Premier League, I really believe that. He is a genius.
As expected, his comments caused a stir on social media, here are some responses from Arsenal fans.

On the other hand, some supporters were in agreement with the former Liverpool defender.

Although Ozil has shown his moments of brilliance on occasions, consistency has been his biggest issue since his move from Real Madrid.
This Arsenal team is filled with energy and work rate, two parts of Ozil’s game that has been severely scrutinised for many years, and now it seems he has dropped way down the pecking order.
It seems as if Emery has decided that Ozil has had enough opportunities and now has to prove his worth and adapt his game before appearing regularly for the Gunners, which is fair.
