Arsenal fans can’t hide their excitement following Ceballos’ comments

Dani Ceballos became an Arsenal favourite over the summer even before making his first appearance for the club.

The creative midfielder snubbed a move to Tottenham in favour of linking up with Unai Emery’s side, and the 23-year-old has gone on to impress in his first four appearances in England.

Ceballos, who also caught the eye for Spain over the international break, has recently spoken about his first month in England, and was quick to heap praise on the Gunners.

Talking to the media, cited by @GurjitAFC, Ceballos said:

I love the city, I love the Premier League & I love Arsenal. I’m just really, really happy to be part of this great club. I’ve hardly noticed any difference in size between Real Madrid and Arsenal.

The fans are very passionate, they love the players. It’s much easier to adapt because they make you feel like you’ve been at the club forever. I love the way everyone’s treated me. They’ve put a lot of faith in me.

And these fans couldn’t contain their excitement following the comments, with many now urging the midfielder to make his loan move permanent next summer.

Initially, Ceballos wasn’t keen on the idea of Arsenal having an option to secure his services on a permanent basis at the end of the season from Real Madrid.

However, following his latest comments, he may well be wishing there was the agreement in his season-long loan deal.

If he continues his fine start to the campaign over the coming months, the Gunners won’t be the only side interested in his services on a full-time basis that’s for sure.
