Arsenal were linked with several high-quality wingers in the summer before they eventually splashed £72 million on Nicolas Pepe.
Wilfried Zaha and Yannick Carrasco were two of the wide men to be linked with a move to the Emirates, however, it appears as if some fans want the Gunners to go back in for another attacking target.
Everton Soares was one of Brazil’s standout performers at the Copa America over the summer and was heavily linked with a move to North London.

A move for the 23-year-old appeared to be close, however, it never went through, leaving the creative forward with parent club Gremio.
And following a tweet from fan account @Aubazettes, which heaped praise on transfer guru Raul Sanllehi, these Arsenal fans replied to the post, urging the club to make a move for Everton.

So should the Gunners head back in for Everton in the new year?

A figure around £36 million was the fee Gremio were demanding over the summer, however, if Arsenal can lower that to under the £30 million mark, a move would be an excellent piece of business.

The Brazilian still has plenty of time to improve on his game at the age of 23 and has showcased his talents on the international stage in recent months.
He has a real eye for goal, can beat a defender with ease and would provide Unai Emery with another solid attacking option.
If the budget is tight in January, defensive reinforcements should be the priority, however, if the winger becomes available and Arsenal have the funds, it could be a shrewd signing.
