# The ‘Winners and Losers’ of Arsenal’s international break

The international break has now, thankfully, drawn to a close, and all attention can now be turned to the resumption of the Premier League this weekend.

Arsenal, who will be facing Watford at Vicarage Road on Sunday, picked up seven points from their opening four fixtures before a plethora of stars went to represent their countries at various levels.

Club-record signing Nicolas Pepe quickly made a return to North London to build up match sharpness after initially linking up with the Ivory Coast squad, while midfielder Joe Willock withdrew from the England Under-21 side with an inflamed calf.

However, with many Arsenal stars representing their countries over the past six days, we’ve decided to take a look at how they did by viewing the majority of performers in a ‘Winners and Losers’ style format.

There were goals, standout performances and also some worrying injuries from some key Arsenal men, with four winners and four losers available to view below.
