# These Arsenal fans aren’t too excited at the prospect of Holding and Bellerin returning from injury

Arsenal look set to be handed three welcome defensive injury boosts this month, with Rob Holding, Hector Bellerin and Kieran Tierney all set to become available to Unai Emery.

Holding has been out since last December with a serious knee injury, while Bellerin also suffered a serious knee problem in the new year.

The two long-term absentees will also be joined in full training alongside new signing Tierney in the coming weeks, with the Scot making good progress following a groin problem.

And Arsenal fan page [@LTArsenal](https://twitter.com/ltarsenal/status/1170968751862272000) took to social media on Monday to share a picture of the long-serving duo ahead of their return.

However, these Arsenal fans weren’t too excited at the prospect of the pair making their long-awaited returns.[https://twitter.com/PeteFrizzy10/status/1170969399353892864](https://twitter.com/PeteFrizzy10/status/1170969399353892864)

[@PeteFrizzy10:](https://twitter.com/PeteFrizzy10/status/1170969399353892864) They have always been bang average. Why are people acting like they are world-class and going to change the team \*\*\*.

### Read Arsenal verdict

Bellerin and Holding’s return will come as a boost to Emery, so hearing these comments from Arsenal fans come as a major surprise.

The Gunners’ defence has been shaky at times over the past six months, so welcoming back the right-back and centre-back will give Emery more options to tinker with his backline.

The pair have proven in the past they have the qualities needed to succeed in the top-flight, and when they get themselves up to match sharpness, don’t be surprised to see the pair become a mainstay in Emery’s defence for the foreseeable future.
