Arsenal reportedly failed in a summer move to sign Vinicius Junior from Real Madrid.
According to UOL, as cited on social media by @afcstuff, the Gunners approached the Spanish giants about a deal, but their interest was rejected by Florentino Perez.
A number of Arsenal fans have been quick to give their verdict on the potential deal and judging by these reactions online, a lot of fans are happy that the club did not sign the Brazilian.

This is quite a surprising reaction from these Arsenal fans, given how highly the Brazilian is rated in both Spain and his homecountry.
He is by no means the finished product and needs plenty of regular game time to develop into the player that many expect him to become.
Whether or not he gets that at Real Madrid remains to be seen, with the player struggling to break into Zinedine Zidane’s plans as things stand.
After their pursuit of Wilfried Zaha and losing Alex Iwobi, the club are clearly keen to reinforce in wide areas, but it looks like Junior is not the man that they will be targetting.
