Rob Holding reveals he is set to return to action – Is this a boost

Arsenal’s Rob Holding has reportedly revealed that he is ready to return to the Gunners first team.

Holding, who suffed an injury last December that ruled him out for the remainder of the season,  has been playing with the under 23’s and is now close to a return.

The defender reportedly met a fan at Luton Airport and revealed that he is now ready to play first-team football for the Gunners.

This is almost certainly good news for Arsenal, with Holding being a key miss last season when he picked up his injury against Manchester United.

Whether or not he is 100% match fit is still up for debate, with Holding only just getting back to the U23 side.

However, when he is match fit, he should 100% be put back into the first team, especially after his performances for the Gunners last season.
