Alexandre Lacazette has certainly lived up to expectations at the Emirates following his £46.5 million switch from Lyon in 2017.
The 28-year-old has scored 38 goals during his two-year stint in North London and has cemented himself as a vital figure in Unai Emery’s side.

He still has just under three years remaining on his current Gunners deal, however, the striker was the subject of interest from La Liga champions Barcelona over the summer.
And according to football.london, cited by the Daily Star, the striker is now keen on exploring the market regarding his services after hearing of the Catalan giant’s recent enquiry.

After such a productive summer transfer window, it would be a real set back if the Gunners were to lose the Frenchman over the next 12 months.
Lacazette has been one of the Gunners’ key performers in key fixtures since his arrival and has sometimes gone under the radar alongside fellow striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

This season will be crucial in terms of the forward’s future.
Failing to secure Champions League football yet again could be the final nail in the coffin and result in his departure, with the striker openly admitting his desire to turn out in the club’s biggest competition once again.
If the Gunners finish in the top four, you’d like to think that Lacazette would be content in staying put, but it’s definitely a situation most Arsenal fans will be keeping a close eye on.
