Arsenal fans produce brilliant responses to Tierney’s fashion choice

Kieran Tierney made the move to the Emirates from Celtic on deadline day in a deal worth £25 million.

The Scot, who was one of Unai Emery’s top targets across the summer, is yet to make his first Arsenal appearance due to a groin problem, however, the 22-year-old is expected to turn out before the end of the month.

Even though Tierney has been absent in the first four games of the season, he appears to have settled into life with the Gunners off the pitch with ease.

Emile Smith-Rowe’s Instagram story on Friday, shared by the club’s official Twitter page, caught the Scot in a controversial goggle jacket, with Smith-Rowe in hysterics at the left-back’s choice of attire.

Both the midfielder and the Gunners social media page were puzzled at the choice and asked fans for ideas. Of course, these Arsenal supporters didn’t disappoint, with a selection of best replies available to view below.

We know he’s been working closely with Hector Bellerin as the pair recover from their injuries, but we’re surprised to see the Scot make this bold fashion statement so early on in his Arsenal career.

Plenty of fans have called him out for his controversial choice, while others have just heaped praise on his footballing ability, something we can also get on board with.

One thing is for sure, all Arsenal fans won’t be bothered on what he wears, as long as he can make an instant impact in Emery’s side over the coming months.
