Saka has been on the fringes of the first-team squad for a while now but it looks like Arsenal are really taking his development seriously.
He is one of a number of talented young stars pushing to breakthrough at the Emirates and with Unai Emery at the helm, chances will come for these youngsters.
Opportunities at a high level can be hard to come by for young forwards, but this could work in his favour during the group stages of the Europa League.
Emery will no doubt be looking to rotate his squad and rest the likes of Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in games where they simply shouldn’t be needed.
This should open up opportunities for the likes of Saka to gain some valuable first-team minutes at a high level, which will be crucial for his development.
