Lord Nicklas Bendtner has found himself in the headlines once again after recently sealing a move to Danish Superliga club FC Copenhagen.
Video footage has been doing the rounds on social media of the striker enjoying his first training session with his new club.
I say enjoying, but in fact, it couldn’t have gone much worse. He continuously missed the target and a number of Arsenal fans on social media have been quick to poke fun at the striker.
@dontcareboutub rather sarcastically compared the great man to Thierry Henry, tweeting: “Henry could never all hail the lord.”
@Parker233839401 couldn’t believe what he was seeing: “How’s he missing from that range?”
One fan wanted the striker locked away after such a poor showing, with @goonergael tweeting: “That left foot should be in jail for murder.”
@dollypinki was lost for words and could only lament the striker’s ability in front of goal by tweeting: “Poor finishing…”

As first training sessions go, this was a moment to forget for the former Arsenal striker.
He is a player that has become something of a jovial figure among supporters around the world and from the outside looking in, it appears that the striker has suffered from that as a result.
While you can’t make any serious judgements from such a short clip, the Dane will be desperate to hit the ground running on the pitch and make a strong start at his new club.
Looking back on Bendtner’s career, there are so many questions. You don’t play for clubs with the history of Arsenal, Juventus and Wolfsburg without having talent, but consistency has always been a huge problem for the forward.
