Aubameyang is certainly making a strong case to be named as Arsenal’s most important player in the opening weeks of the new season.

The striker has started exactly where he left off and that has been a major plus for the Gunners.

Three goals in four is an impressive return, especially as he has not always been playing in his more favoured central position.

While he may be desperate to play through the middle, Aubameyang looks like he could be at his best when attacking from wide positions, especially if it means Emery can play him alongside Nicolas Pepe and Alexandre Lacazette.
