Arsenal supporters cannot wait to see new signing Kieran Tierney make his long-awaited Gunners debut, and it appears as if it is closer than first thought.
According to the Daily Star, Tierney, ahead of the North London derby on Sunday, was asked by an Arsenal fan as to when he would be ready to make his first start for the club.

The left-back reportedly surprisingly replied to the fan, revealing he would be set to start in two weeks time.
Tierney, who cost the Gunners £25 million from Celtic, is currently recovering from a hip problem. So could he make his first start for the club against Manchester United at the end of the month?

Arsenal have a busy September schedule following the international break, and Tierney won’t be rushed back until he is 100% ready to go.
The 22-year-old will more than likely feature in a few games for the Under-23’s beforehand, with Unai Emery’s side set to play five games in 15 days this month.
The last of those games is a trip to Old Trafford to take on Manchester United.
If he comes through minutes with the U23’s with relative ease, he’ll definitely be in line for a potential first start against Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side.
The sooner Tierney gets back on the pitch the better for Emery and co, however, the last thing everyone associated with Arsenal will want is a rushed return.
Give him the majority of September to build up his fitness, then release him against the Red Devils, that’s what we think anyway!
