Henrikh Mkhitaryan has completed a loan move to AS Roma, and the player now has the opportunity to get his career back on track in Italy.
After joining Arsenal in 2018 from Manchester United as part of the famous Alexis Sanchez swap deal, the Armenian has failed to live up to expectations.
Unable to recreate the form he showed at Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund, the creative midfielder only scored nine goals and assisted 13 times in 58 appearances for the club.
Mkhitaryan has really failed to fire for the Gunners, so does he still have a future at the club?

A move will definitely be good for Mkhitaryan, who needs to get consistent game time in order to re-build his career once again.
This will be a great opportunity for the Armenian to regain his confidence and potentially his place in the Arsenal team.
He joined the club as a replacement for Alexis Sanchez and you could see why when you look back at his days at Dortmund, where he scored 41 times and assisted 49 goals in 140 games for the Bundesliga giants.
However, with Mkhitaryan only scoring one goal in the last seven months in the Premier League, it was evident he was no longer a good fit at Arsenal.
He did show glimpses of his brilliance in an Arsenal shirt, most notably his double against Southampton, a goal and two assists at Bournemouth and his hat-trick of assists against Everton.
Mkhitaryan always showed some class, but never showed enough consistency to warrant a place in the Arsenal line-up. Meanwhile, his move away could open up chances for some of the club’s younger stars to impress.
Overall, it was best for Mkhitaryan to make the move to Serie A, a place where he can find his feet, and start performing well once again.
