Read Arsenal verdict
Willock looks the clear favourite to win the award for the opening month of the season and it would be a great reward for him after a fantastic start to the campaign.
The youngster could be set for a real breakthrough season if the opening games are anything to go by.
While he struggled against Liverpool, he has been one of Arsenal’s shining lights during the first three games. Particularly against Burnley, where WhoScored gave him a rating of 7.07.
Unai Emery is proving that he is not afraid to give the young players a chance at Arsenal and Willock could be the main beneficiary of that in midfield.
