It appears as if things aren’t so cosy on one half of North London ahead of the derby on Sunday.
Arsenal and Tottenham suffered their first Premier League defeats last weekend against Liverpool and Newcastle United respectively and will be looking to bounce back in emphatic fashion at the Emirates on Sunday.

However, according to The Telegraph, Jan Vertonghen is still having to prove his fitness to Mauricio Pochettino ahead of the meeting this weekend.
The Belgian, who is arguably Spurs’ best defender, is yet to start this season after failing to prove his fitness levels to the Argentine.
And these Spurs fans took to social media to reply to the news, with some hitting out at Pochettino.

The situation with Pochettino and Vertonghen all seems rather bizarre. The 32-year-old was a regular last season and also featured in the majority of Tottenham’s pre-season fixtures.
The pair may have been involved in a bust-up in recent weeks that hasn’t yet filtered through to the media, which could explain the defender’s exclusion from the starting line up in the first three games of the season.
Arsenal fans will be hoping that the experienced defender remains absent from Pochettino’s starting XI, which could end up giving the Gunners a real advantage come Sunday.
