It’s safe to say that Alexis Sanchez hasn’t lived up to expectations during his time at Manchester United.
The 30-year-old, who left the Emirates for Old Trafford last January, has endured a disastrous time up north, netting just five times in 45 appearances.
He now looks set to follow former United teammate Romelu Lukaku to Inter Milan.
Sky Sports report that the Italian giants will sign the forward on a season-long loan, paying a proportion of Sanchez’s £400,000-a-week salary for the rest of the campaign.

Even though Sanchez controversially left Arsenal 19 months ago, many Gunners fans will still follow the Chilean’s time in Italy extremely closely.
There’s no doubting he has all the qualities to still succeed at the top level, proving that over the summer with his country at the Copa America.
Sanchez’s spectacular flop at Manchester United will be remembered for a long, long time, however, we hope he can resurrect his domestic career at Inter Milan this season.
