# Arsenal fans beg Zenit to buy Shkodran Mustafi

Shkodran Mustafi hasn’t been a very popular figure with Arsenal supporters of late, but it appears that they are willing to put the work in to try and get a club to sign the player.

Zenit St Petersburg’s English Twitter [account have posted a picture](https://twitter.com/fczenit_en/status/1165977887754870786?s=20) of their private messages, which have been left open for fans to reach out as and when they please.

The reality of what happens in this situation is actually Arsenal and Manchester United supporters begging the club to sign either Mustafi or Phil Jones.

Judging by some of the reactions on social media, these Arsenal fans are willing to go the extra mile.

Nothing like a good old bit of social media, right?

Zenit’s English Twitter account is always good value for a joke and a laugh but it’s hard to see any transfer happening here!

Arsenal fans must really be getting desperate if they themselves are trying to organise a move away for a player.

With the European window coming to a close soon, it is looking increasingly likely that Mustafi will be staying at the club.

While it’s not the news fans would have wanted to hear, he’ll provide cover to the likes of David Luiz and Sokratis throughout the season and hopefully improve on the form he has shown recently.
