Arsenal may have lost at Anfield, but Tottenham’s defeat to Newcastle on Sunday was the result that caught the eye for a lot of supporters.
Despite Liverpool running out 3-1 winners, there was an acceptance that the Gunners were beaten by one of the best teams in the country, one that will no doubt be fighting for the title this season.
With the North London derby to come on Sunday, Tottenham’s preparations for the meeting have not been as straightforward following their shock defeat to Steve Bruce’s side.
These Arsenal fans on social media have been taunting their London rivals in the early build up to the game.

It’s worth remembering that both teams head into the derby on the back of defeats, but Arsenal will still feel confident about their chances.
Tottenham will come into the game looking to bounce back and one could argue that there is no better game to have after a shock defeat.
It was certainly an uncharacteristic performance from Mauricio Pochettino’s men and Emery will be praying for more of the same next week.
Arsenal will be out to make home advantage count and if the Gunners can take advantage of the unhappiness surrounding Spurs at the minute, the derby could play right into their hands.
