Arsenal have shared their latest injury updates ahead of the trip to Liverpool on Saturday.

The club confirmed on their official website that midfielders Granit Xhaka and Mesut Ozil have returned to full training.

The Gunners also revealed that Rob Holding is back in training, however, Hector Bellerin, Kieran Tierney and Dinos Mavropnaos are all still aiming for an October return.

Ozil and Xhaka may well be in the squad to take on Liverpool at Anfield, as Unai Emery’s side look to make it three out of three in the Premier League.

However, these Arsenal fans weren’t too excited after hearing the news of the pair’s return to full training.

Obviously, it’s good news that the pair have returned to full training, however, we don’t think the duo should make the starting lineup against Liverpool.

Dani Ceballos has done more than enough to keep his place in front of Ozil and will more than likely start at Anfield.

Meanwhile, Lucas Torreira could be in line for a first start of the season if Emery decides he needs some more experience in front of the back four.

It would certainly be a shock to see either Ozil or Xhaka given the nod by the Spaniard on Saturday, however, their experience could be vital on the bench in a relatively young Arsenal side.
