Five players Arsenal could sell before the European window closes

Even though the window has shut for Unai Emery to make any further additions to his squad, the Spaniard can still give the green light to ship out various first-team stars to clubs around Europe before the end of the month. 

The Gunners enjoyed a successful window in terms of bringing in some much-needed summer recruits, much to the surprise of many Arsenal supporters. 

Nicolas Pepe arrived from Lille in a club-record £72 million deal, with the Gunners also securing the services of defenders William Saliba, Kieran Tierney and David Luiz, midfielder Dani Ceballos and winger Gabriel Martinelli. 

The five immediate summer additions mean that Emery’s squad is starting to overflow, so several first-team departures in north London over the coming weeks are a real possibility.
