Former Tottenham striker Darren Bent has heaped praise on Arsenal’s summer signing Dani Ceballos.
The 23-year-old shone at the Emirates last weekend as Unai Emery’s side made it two wins from two to share the lead at the top of the table with Liverpool.

Ceballos set up both Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang before receiving a standing ovation after being replaced for Lucas Torreira.
And when asked on his thoughts about Ceballos’ first start for the Gunners, Bent, talking to Football Insider, said:
Very, very, very good. He completely ran the game, he played well – not only did he look like he can put a tackle in but he’s got great distribution on the ball.
He has high energy, creative, good range of passing. Listen, Arsenal might have just stumbled upon a gem there. The only disappointing thing is Arsenal don’t have him permanently.
If he keeps performing like that, it will not just be Arsenal in for him.

I know it was only against Burnley, but Arsenal fans have every right to get excited about Ceballos. If he can back up his impressive Burnley display at Anfield this weekend, he’ll certainly be hard to drop and could turn out to be a key member of the side this season.
Ceballos showed just why Tottenham were so keen to take the player off Arsenal’s hands in the summer. He’s clever, always wants the ball, has a high work rate and an incredible passing range, which will surely make him a success in north London.
The only negative is that the Gunners don’t have the Spaniard on a permanent deal. It’s easy to see why Real Madrid think so highly of him, and you never know, a successful loan stint under Emery could make Ceballos think twice about his immediate future.
