Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has started the season in excellent form.
The 30-year-old, who was one of the Gunners’ standout performers in pre-season, backed up his winner against Newcastle United with one at home to Burnley as Arsenal made it two wins from two on Saturday lunchtime.
The Gabon international joined AFTV Media on Instagram Live following the win and made a bold claim ahead of the Liverpool clash next weekend.
We feel confident. We feel like we need revenge, because last year was a bad game.
And these Gunners fans quickly took to social media to heap praise on Aubameyang following the interview.

There is certainly a real feel-good factor around the club at the moment. Obviously, a large part of that is due to the club’s excellent summer business and impressive start to the campaign.
However, something like Aubameyang agreeing to an interview for AFTV Media is just a little thing that will go a long way with the Gunners supporters. It brings a real togetherness which will only benefit the club during the campaign.
Arsenal fans will be hoping this feeling continues way into the current season, and a positive result at Anfield next weekend will only strengthen the club’s great start.
