Arsenal made it two wins from two on Saturday as they defeated Burnley at the Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners got off to a good start in the Premier League in the opening weekend. They travelled to Newcastle United and won 1-0 courtesy of a delicate lob from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Burnley also started well. They beat Southampton 3-0 at Turf Moor and headed to North London hoping to cause an upset.
However, Unai Emery’s men ensured that this would not be the case, as a cagey affair was settled in the second half.
Arsenal took the lead after some good work in the area from Alexandre Lacazette, who fired beneath Nick Pope. Burnley equalised just before half-time, though, as Ashley Barnes got his third goal in two games.
The Gunners continued to probe and eventually got their reward, as Aubameyang again found the back of the net with a well-placed, low effort into the bottom corner.
