Arsenal Player Ratings: Burnley (H)

Arsenal continued their good start to the season by beating Burnley 2-1 at the Emirates Stadium and making it two wins in two league games.

Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang were the scorers for the Gunners, while Ashley Barnes scored an equaliser once for the Clarets.

After a fast start from the home side, they took the lead in the 13th minute after a low corner from Dani Ceballos was turned in by Lacazette after some good work around the six-yard box under pressure from three defenders.

Burnley threatened to equalise and eventually did two minutes before half-time when a deflected Dwight McNeil shot fell into the path of Barnes, who scrapped his effort into the back of the net.

Just as when the away side were starting to take the sting out of the game in the second half, Arsenal regained the lead through Aubameyang in the 64th minute.

This came from Ceballos winning the ball in midfield and freeing the Gabon international to go on and score a very good goal.

The Gunners had other chances to kill this game off, but it remained tight and tense right till the end.
