# These Arsenal fans label Bellerin and Tierney as best full-backs in the league – are they right?

Defensive pair Hector Bellerin and Kieran Tierney are, unfortunately, likely to be out of action until October.

Bellerin is still continuing his recovery from a knee problem, while new signing Tierney has a groin issue.

However, the full-back duo were pictured out on the grass on Thursday as they continue on their road to recovery.

The post sparked plenty of anticipation among these Arsenal supporters, who couldn’t hide their excitement at the duo taking to the field together over the coming months.

### Read Arsenal verdict

If Bellerin and Tierney reach match sharpness in the coming months and string together a series of impressive first-team appearances, they could well be considered as one of the best in the league.

Of course, they’ll have to go a long way to rival Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson, however, if they can replicate half of the Liverpool duo’s form from last season, they’ll certainly be in with a shout.

Unai Emery will be demanding solid defensive displays off of the pair, as well as asking them to join the attack at every given opportunity. They have the quality to form a formidable full-back partnership this season when they return, and with the pair both 24 and 22 respectively, it could be one that lasts a very long time.
