Arsenal face Burnley at the Emirates this weekend, but some fans are already thinking about the game after, where the Gunners will be travelling north to take on Liverpool.
Whilst watching the Reds in action against Chelsea, one Arsenal fan spotted a potential weakness in the European champions whilst another supporter saw a way to potentially exploit it.
Press Fabinho at Anfield. He doesn't look comfortable when he's pressed with the intensity Chelsea's midfield has. We can win a lot of balls in promising central areas like Chelsea are.

Torreira already did that at emirates and destroyed them. just need to do it at anfield which we failed last season

However, plenty of Liverpool fans were quick to dismiss the thought that Arsenal can pose a big threat to the Reds, especially considering that the Gunners have been on the end of a few heavy defeats at Anfield in recent years.
Here’s just a few of the Tweets from Liverpool fans.
Yous literally get battered in every game at anfield yet still think yous can get a result it’s mad

Haven’t you been down this road before

No disrespect but if you try and press us when TAA, Robbo and Firmino are playing (at Anfield) you’ll get picked off and we’ll create loads of 4 v 4 situations with your defence and it could be a hiding. You need to hold and try and counter our highline with the pace you have.

It will be a different level at Anfield. Aubameyang will have 6 touches like last time😂

Read Arsenal Verdict
Arsenal’s recent record away to Liverpool is poor, to say the least, so it’ll take a huge effort from the Gunners to take anything from Anfield.
However, Arsenal’s attacking players are more than capable of causing any team problems, even Liverpool, and like the original tweet stated, if the Gunners can win the ball back high up the pitch, they will be able to unleash their quick forwards onto the Reds.
However, the Liverpool team that started the Super Cup final is unlikely to be the team that plays Arsenal as, if fit, last season’s tormentor Roberto Firmino will almost certainly start for the Reds, as will Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Those two players are very good at beating the press and if that happens, Liverpool will spring into attack, unleashing the likes of Sadio Mane and Mo Salah onto what still looks like a rather weak Arsenal defence.
