Granit Xhaka has always divided opinions among Arsenal supporters and the attitude of some fans towards the Swiss midfielder may surprise a few after the club revealed their latest injury round-up.
Arsenal have confirmed that the player is a doubt for this weekend’s game against Burnley.
The Gunners revealed that bruising to the player’s lower back and leg means he will need to be assessed before Saturday’s early kick-off.
The news that Xhaka could be out of the game has gone down surprisingly well with some supporters if these reactions on social media are anything to go by.

Xhaka continues to divide opinions among supporters and his inclusion in the team remains a big talking point within the fan base.
You would like to think that no Arsenal supporter would wish an injury upon any player, let alone one of their own.
However, the context of some of the reactions is hard to judge. Some clearly believe that while the injury is bad for the club, they see the positives as it opens up an opportunity for someone like of Dani Ceballos to come into the side.
Unai Emery has made it very clear that he sees Xhaka as an important figure within his squad and the quicker Arsenal supporters realise the role he is going to play under the Spaniard, the better it will be for everyone involved.
