Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah completed a season-long loan move to Leeds United on deadline day.

The youngster attracted interest from over 25 sides across Europe, however, it was a late pitch by the Whites’ Director of Football, Victor Orta, that sealed his move to Yorkshire.

Nketiah is now in line to make his Leeds debut against Salford City in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday after completing evaluation tests over the weekend.

Talking in his pre-match press conference, cited by Inside Futbol, Marcelo Bielsa was quick to praise the forward, claiming he has all the capabilities needed to succeed.

All the minutes that he had in the Arsenal and national teams, we could watch these minutes. Then I have an idea about the skills and capabilities of the player.

In these two days when we’re working with him, it’s very easy to show in training what he’s showing in the games.

He’s a complex player because he has a lot of capabilities.

And Leeds fans were quick to react on social media to the news which saw Bielsa state that the striker will make his Whites debut.

A move to Elland Road should benefit all three parties involved if all goes to plan.

One thing that if for sure is that Leeds have a talented young striker on their hands for the next nine months. If Nketiah can cope with the physical demands of the Championship, he may well be the man to help fire the club back into the Premier League.

The player himself will be getting some much-needed game time, which will only help his chances of breaking into Unai Emery’s Gunners side in the coming seasons.

All Arsenal fans will be keeping a close eye on the forward in the coming months, and Whites fans look set to get their first glimpse of the highly-rated forward on Tuesday night.
