# Gunners supporters cannot wait for Luiz and Guendouzi to line up together

David Luiz appears to be edging towards a shock move to the Emirates from rivals Chelsea.

The Brazilian is reportedly undergoing a medical ahead of an £8 million move, with Unai Emery hoping the 32-year-old will answer the club’s defensive woes.

Social media went crazy when the news broke, and many Gunners supporters now cannot wait to see the defender line up alongside midfielder Matteo Guendouzi in the battle of the barnets.

### Read Arsenal verdict

Who has the better hair is a topic certainly open for debate. But one thing that is for sure is that the Gunners will be getting an experienced Premier League winner for just £8 million if they secure Luiz’s services.

A deal looks to be a great piece of business. Luiz is certainly an upgrade on the likes of Callum Chambers and Shkodran Mustafi and could turn out to be an excellent member of Unai Emery’s backline.

Even though he takes multiple risks on the ball, which may get Arsenal fans’ hearts racing, he’ll be the only member of the Gunners side who has tasted Premier League glory, something which looks likely to be essential for the upcoming campaign.
