The Scottish left-back has been wanted by Unai Emery for the majority of the summer, and the Spaniard has finally got his man.
Tierney has been one of the star performers in the Scottish Premiership in recent years and will now challenge Nacho Monreal and Sead Kolasinac at the Emirates.

Tierney’s signing could well turn out to be one of the deals of the window in the long run.
At a reported £25 million fee, the Gunners will be receiving an established full-back with a winning mentality.
The left-back has already won eight major honours during his career and will be comfortable playing in a back four or back five under Emery, two formations the Spaniard tinkered with last season.
Tierney is happy to join the attack and is known for creating multiple goalscoring opportunities, an essential attribute needed in the modern-day full-back.
And at just 22, Tierney still has plenty of time to improve on his already impressive game, so a £25 million deal in today’s market could be one of the best signings the club has made in recent memory.
