The pros and cons of signing Rugani as Juventus chief prepares for talks

Arsenal appear to be pursuing a deal for Juventus man Daniele Rugani, and according to claims from Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla, the Italian giants’ director is heading for talks with the Gunners.

Pedulla claims that Fabio Paratici, who orchestrates negotiates for Juve, will hold negotiations with representatives in London as a deal for the defender is discussed.

The Gunners have already strengthened their squad significantly this summer. Dani Ceballos has joined on loan, while Nicolas Pepe and Gabriel Martinelli have also been signed.

William Saliba arrived in a big-money move from Saint-Etienne but has been loaned back to the French club, ahead of returning for the 2020/21 season at the Emirates.

Arsenal’s defensive woes have been well documented in recent years, and as such, it seems they are turning to Rugani to remedy their issues.

So, what are the pros and cons of signing the Italy international from the Serie A champions this summer? We have taken a look.
