Arsenal visit Camp Nou to play their final pre-season game against Spanish giants Barcelona. This game has some sort of significance as it is played for the Joan Gamper Trophy.
The Gunners’ overall pre-season form has been iffy, to say the least, especially when we take their defensive performances into account.
However, there has been a good vibe around the club ever since they managed to complete the signatures of Daniel Ceballos, and more recently breaking their club record to sign Nicolas Pepe.
Even though these two additions do not improve their back line, it makes them a dangerous unit going forward against any opposition around Europe.
In terms of team news, Pepe arrived two days back and is not expected to take part on Sunday. Ceballos could get a start, while recently-arrived Lucas Torreira and Mohamed Elneny could get minutes off the bench.
